Turning, I reached into my classic yellow bag and pulled out a nail and a hammer.

Quickly yet quietly, I chipped away at one of the glass panels. When it broke, I slid in. Y'know, 'cuz I'm short.

Crouching down, I scanned the area. I noticed what looked like a moving figure in the kitchen, but I brushed it off as an animal. I stood up, taking out my notebook carefully.

Then, the lights flickered to life. I turned just about every which way before my dull viridian eyes landed on the kitchen. I knew who it was, copies of the student files were stuffed into my desk at home for a reason.

They didn't seem to process me, just waving and walking to the kitchen. I used that time to hide everything into my bag, then watched the student wearily. They stopped just at the doorway of the kitchen before doing a double take.

"H-Hi?..." I stuttered, nervously.

"Oh shit." They muttered.
