My name is Abigale Jareau. Yes, Jareau. JJ is my older sister. My friends in the army call me Abi, my sister calls me AJ, and Emily calls Phoenix. My parents think I am dead and do not know that I survived my accident. I keep in contact with JJ and Emily almost on a daily basis.
I was in an accident 4 years ago that led to me being on an operating table where I died. My convoy was hit with an I.E.D. My superiors still won't tell anyone how they brought me back. My unit is a Black Ops Undercover Unit. I am the team captain. They call me the Black Shadow. I have the second highest kill count in any branch of the military. And that is a lot. But it still haunts every one of us.
