The Woods (Dream Team Angst)

Let's say you have a friend who messed up, really bad.
This friend had a few hidden metal conditions- though they had never went to a doctor out of fear and anxiety due to these problems.. they had gotten put into a place though for a bit but that place couldn't handle your friend. Yet after all of this you and your small friend group still love them. Your friend was always there and no matter what came with advise and help when you or anyone else was struggling... even if deep down they were hiding their own struggles. Your friend group they were in had started to notice your friend cracking, everyone did, but your friend would deny everything.
After your friend made this awful mistake they had just vanished just like that.... it hurt the small friend group with now only two remaining. So you and your other friend headed out a few months after to go camping as a distraction! With how mysterious and deep as the forest was it was quite an unusual but somewhat comforting place. Though something was off.......
