Levi is a boy born without the special powers that other children have. He can't remember his past life like they can. Bullied for being ordinary, he's always wanted to leave the island. One day a strange princess in a fox mask visits during the Wishing Festival and Levi follows her out on the waters past the dragon which guards the island. However...the outside world is not what Levi thinks. The Deathless City yearns to invade the Rainlands and when their soldiers discover Levi's boat, they find a way onto the island. In that moment Levi loses everything but gains a mission.
Only he can warn the Rainlands Emperor that the Deathless City is coming. But no one will believe him...unless he finds a princess in a fox mask...
