My Hero

Tawnly Bay is far removed from the horrors of World War II. Eight-year-old Colin has thought out a plan to help him win the war just in time to share with his father, who has just returned from battle on a month's leave.
Should all work to plan when his father returns to the front, he may come back home a hero.
In the meantime, Colin manages to unravel the mystery of his missing red Hubley car.
