        Courtney's POV.

"Court, why are you being stupid." My boyfriend says and wraps his arms around me in the lunch line.

I look at him and point to my hair.

"Dumb blonde, does that ring a bell to you?" I say and laugh.

He laughs too.

We get our food and go sit at his table.

All his Football and basketball friends were sitting there too.

There was two seats left. 

All of a sudden a girl steals my spot.

"Hey, that was my seat." I say.

She looks at me and stands up.

She looks me up and down.

"Brock, why would you date her? She is ugly as hell." She says and I smile and set my tray down.

"At least I don't hop from guy to guy and I didn't give the last guy I FUCKED an STD." I say and her face turns red with embarrassment.

"At least my brother didn't die in a car crash while coming home from their best friends wedding and you're other brother had to get taken off life support!!" She screams, everyone and I mean EVERYONE looked at me.

"Henslowe, stop." Brock says getting up. I push him back down in his seat.

I walk up to her. Me being 5'4 and her 4'10 I was way taller then her.

"Don't EVER bring my brothers in this mess again.." I say.

I back up.

"Bitch please. Like you're gonna do anything. Mommy and daddy can't even afford a phone for you're poor ass." She says and laughs and her table does to.

"Henslowe!" Brock screams.

I look at her and all you see me do is push her to the ground.

This world is set in the past. In a time where nothing was impossible, Where dragons fly above our heads. We learned to ride them, and become friends with them. We created artifacts that make our dragos small and then big again when we need them. That's what sets our world into two sides. A side where dragon riders lived and flew on them. And a side where they hated dragons, and the one that rode them. Even though we managed to work in peace, there was no war between us. Only fights that were under control and rules. In the Arena in the city called Aeloria. A city where there were both sides. They mostly ignored each other. But it was hard to get in this city. Mostly it was the people that lived there. And a few outsiders, but that was either the sellers, chosen group of warriors or dragon riders, and lastly the best fighters of the academies that went into the arena. To prove who is stronger and the winner will receive high quality weapons or any other things of their choice. One day the darkness came and war started. Not between us, but with a kingdom that was across the sea. And this battle or war changed everything we knew. I'm Ardyn, I'm on the side where we ride on dragons. And this story can be easy but also hard to understand. But I will still share it. But first we have to start from the beginning. What will this story bring? Will we be able to see the outcome? Cameron and Jaike were walking in the park with their newly engaged friends, although they don't get along they were putting everything aside so this wedding could go off without a hitch. As they were walking in the park Cameron spots a little blue blanket under the trees. She walked over to the little blue blanket with Jaike, gently removing the blanket laid a baby a few months old. She took the baby into her arms, "Jaike who would just leave a baby in the park?" I asked. He shrugged his shoulders "I don't know Cam but I think we should take him to the hospital so we can get him checked out and to see if he is missing." We were now waiting at the hospital for the case worker because he is all healthy and ready to go home with his family. It wasn't long until they turned up and they hadn't found his parents, I asked "what happens with him now?" They carefully pick him up "he goes into a foster home, he is young so he shouldn't stay there for long." I nodded my head and asked "can I take him, I will adopt him if I have to but that is no place for a baby." The social worker turned to me "I am sorry but a single lady like yourself is in no place to raise a baby by yourself." As I was then going to respond Jaike cut in "she isn't alone and single she has me her boyfriend and we both want to take him in." She nodded her head "okay I will make arrangements." She left the room leaving us with this baby boy, I turned to Jaike and said "you didn't need to do that, I want to have him not for you to be in it half heartedly." Jaike nodded his head completely ignoring what I had said "we should name him Parker." I shook my head at the name he had chose in amusement.

I thank you three for excepting us, I truly do... no matter how much I have grown to love you guys, you can't stop me" another tear rolled down my cheek "I am not just protecting Alexey and Alec anymore... he knows I love you, he will hurt anyone I love" I zipped my jacket up "please let me protect the ones I love... look after Alexey and Alec for me... please..." the three hugged me, Jay was in front of me, I silently cried into his chest "Stay safe Nicole" Jay whispered "We will take care of Alexia and Alec, but we can't replace you," Kaleb whispered from my right "Promise us you will come back" Ryan looked me in the eye causing more tears to come down "I will try my best, thank you" I walked out leaving my family behind, tear streaming down my face.
