When rising actress Alondra Gonzalez briefly meets successful actor Danilo Antunes she perceives him as very charismatic and fearsome all in one go. Persuaded that their brief meet went disastrous she tries to forget about him until she wakes up one morning with a killer headache and a sleeping Danilo practically hovering on top of her.

A few weeks later Alondra is shocked to find herself in her bathroom, a stick in her hands displaying two lines. Driven by fear of humiliation she tries to keep it to herself, but what is ever hidden from Danilo Antunes.

What she doesn't know is that Danilo is fighting his own battles and consumed by fright and sorrow. As they undertake a challenging task called parenthood, Alondra learns more about Danilo than anyone ever has, but what's in store for her will surely reveal itself.
