He was tall, lanky, with unimaginably pale skin, and his arms and legs were bent up unnaturally underneath his body. Blood stained his clothes and his jaw hung off of his face, skewed to one side, arms and legs laced with gashes and cuts. He had wounds covering him, marring his skin in a mix of flesh and dirt, and Mel's gaze was instantly jerked upwards to his eyes. Pure white, filmy and stark, they seemed to light up the train car with a terrifying, inhuman glow.
And then, in the blink of an eye, he was charging forward through the car.

Four people wake up, sore and dazed, in a subway train deep below the city. They have no memory of where they are or how they got there, and are shocked to see that the train doesn't seem to ever stop. Fighting their way to the front, they realize that the strange, rabid people on the train aren't what they seem, and that a terrifying world of mutation, human greed, and power lay just beyond the station.

Thank you for considering my book! It means a lot to me, and I'm very grateful for every single one of my readers. However, before you read, I urge you to read the TWs below in case you are sensitive to/don't care to read about any of these topics!
TW // zombies, (semi?)cannibalism, murder, blood, gore, swearing
"Pretty girls like you shouldn't be out of town on your own." His raggedy silver beard, smell of sweat, cigarettes and just the persona of dominance made me want to recoil back in fear as a sick Cheshire grin creeped up his face.
"Good thing I have a gun." I mutter back bitterly.
Francesca only being seventeen, has to worry about more then just boys and high school.
Since a young age Francesca has taken up the role of being a motherly figure for not only her own self, but her younger brother, Max, since her mothers passing.
Since the infamous disease, Beutionus, has spread over the world, Francesca's life has taken a turn. Even though her state has been secured off, some people whom are infected somehow seem to sneak in and rise havoc.
The infected are no longer considered humane, they crave flesh and have all taken an animalistic side, resorting to eating and devouring anything with a heart beat. No compassion, no empathy. No remembrances of their past life.
When Francesca's state is found to no longer be secure, she finds her and her family, far past the "safe" borders to which the President has proclaimed.
What dangerous fate will Francesca be tossed into?
