As a sixteen year old girl who never met her parents, Alina Rae Perrie lives in a small seaside home in Collandia Town, New Brandilynn, with her also parentless best friend, Summer.

Alina hates the repetitive life she calls the 'Zombie Life', but after the arrival of a new guy, strange things start to happen that just dump the whole town on its head. People start to seemingly vanish off the face of the earth, and a tale spanning time and dimensions starts to unfold, along with an age-old myth that could be the key to the entire creation of the world itself, as well as its survival.

Alina and Summer may be the ones who have to take up the burden of figuring out the tale, whether they like it or not, but how is Alina supposed to focus when even her own identity is false? And with many foes watching them from the comfort of the shadows, will they succeed?
