Death before Death is a hunger games fan fiction about every 25th year before the hunger games 4 boy and girl tributes get sent to the "death before death" arena. It's like the hunger games arena but its not the "fight to the death" concept, it's about survival and choice. In the "death before death" book it's about love and trust between the tributes and who Katniss will chose to pair up as allies with because the closest people D12 are the tributes.

The 136th Hunger Games
When Kira Blackwood's name is reaped, she knows she's screwed. How is she supposed to survive in a fight to death with twenty-three other tributes, all of whom want to get out alive as much as she does? Not to mention, the thought of killing somebody twists her stomach into all sorts of unnatural shapes.
