A Strike Force of Blood Angels and Lamenters are thrust into a completely new reality, along with a fleet of Imperial Refugees. But how? And Why? If fate is to be believed, the Emperor has sent the Great Angel's Sons here with a task. They are to protect an infant Mankind from an encroaching Darkness. But even though this galaxy despises everything about them, will they be able to save it?

This is a story I have already been making and writing for some time. I originally posted it on FanFiction.net, but I've decided to publish it here as well. I hope you all enjoy it, and feedback is much appreciated!

05/02/2024 I've Returned and published the last of the story I had made originally but now I am releasing my rewrites of another crossover here first, then I will recreate this story afterwards

In the grim darkness of the 41st millennium, where the galaxy burns in constant warfare, the forces of the Astra Militarum and the Space Marines stand as humanity's shield against the horrors that threaten to engulf the Imperium. Among the most disciplined and fearless legions of the Guard are the Mordian Iron Guard-known for their unflinching resolve and iron discipline. Leading the charge in this campaign is an Iron Guard Officer, a hardened veteran of countless battles, who must marshal his troops against the insidious forces of Chaos. Assigned to fight alongside them is a single squad of Salamanders Space Marines, the fiery sons of Vulkan, whose resilience and compassion for humanity stand in stark contrast to the stoic and rigid Mordians. As they battle through war-torn worlds and decimated strongholds, the uneasy alliance must find common ground to defeat their relentless enemy. Their journey will take them across varied theaters of war, from scorched desert planets to the decaying ruins of once-thriving Hive Cities. With Chaos warbands, Traitor Marines, and daemonic forces pressing in on all sides, the Mordian Iron Guard and the Salamanders must forge a united front or face total annihilation. As battles rage and alliances are tested, the line between duty, survival, and sacrifice will blur-challenging both soldier and Space Marine alike to redefine what it means to serve the Emperor in the darkest of times. Will this unlikely brotherhood survive the fires of war, or will the forces of Chaos tear them asunder? Disclaimer: I am not affiliated with the Warhammer 40k franchise. I am purely writing this story as a fanfiction for fun and do not intend to make a profit from this work.

This is not an official work to any of the utilized franchises, and simply a side-story to my series of Fanfics. ------------------------ This story takes place concurrent to "The Ark of War", beginning at the chapter, "A new faction". The Darkness encroaches upon the sovereign-less Imperium, spreading its blasphemous tendrils all across known space and Imperial Occupied dimensions (other universes). Its Emperor-Forsaken legions cut a swathe through formerly safeguarded Imperial worlds, Allies, and Vassals either on the forefront of the conflict or even far-off civilizations formerly unaware of the Imperium and its millennia-long conflict with the Darkness, who now find themselves assailed by now free evils unimaginable, formerly contained behind the interdimensional, and formerly thought impervious, Cadian Network, a vast line of imperial fortress worlds now fallen . . . The Imperium's defenders are scattered, the Royal family in tatters after losing the Emperor, at least emotionally, and the overall population of the Imperium is filled with rage . . . Filled with purpose. While others cower, they stand. Against all the Evil the Darkness can conjure, the gods sent unto it only them Rip and Tear until it is done. Show the Darkness how we felled Chaos. How the Emperor beat its very own acolyte, Oryx, into submission. And finally, why it knows our people as the anathema to its existence.
