Louisa Clearwater is the middle child from Sue and Harry Clearwater and best friends with Embry Call, Quil Atera and Jacob Black.

She comes terms with her sexuality and life couldn't be better with her girlfriend on her side. But then her girlfriend leaves for college and things seems to only go down from there.

Her older sister got her heart broken by Sam and the betrayal of Emily, Louisa is disappointing in them and hates them. She feels betrayed by their actions. The worse is that she's slowly losing all her best friends to Sam's manipulative cult and once again she's betrayed by people she cared the most.

Will she forgive them? Or hate and avoid them for the rest of her life? Or join them...?

After a year away at Kitty Hawk, Cassie Maybank returns to the Outerbanks with a determination to get her life back on track. To stay healthy, to make her own friends, to live a normal, steady life like every teenage girl should. But after hearing the news of the passing of one of her closest friends, and coming back to the island, she realizes her brother's letters severely underestimated how much had truly changed. A lot can happen in a year. Friends become strangers, brothers become liars. Some enemies become allies, some enemies become lovers. © Inslaytiable | June 22nd, 2023
