Hey Guys! Finally gonna start posting my work up here and this is a small piece very close to me.
A very sad short story / flash fiction (and I mean SHORT) about a mother's love for her child. It's a few lines of a very sad one shot scene that will surely melt your heart, so please do give this story a chance.

She stays quiet for a second, and then looks away from my gaze, like she was afraid to see my reaction to what she was about to say. "Like this is real.." - 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐚 is a single mother trying her hardest to provide for her kids, after a one-night stand five years ago Mila was left with one of the biggest responsibilities of her life, at only 18 she hooked up and got pregnant by a guy whose name she didn't even know, what happens when five years later the two reunite and their mutual attraction ignites once again, only this time, stronger. 𝐆𝐢𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢 was a busy man, he had a mafia to run and it didn't help that his father was always breathing down his neck to find a bride to marry so he could have an heir to his not so glorious throne, deciding to satisfy his dads orders he sends out his men to find him a bride, what happens when the women he's faced with happens to the the women that has put an imprint in his mind for the past five years, the women who has left him with more then a memory and a hangover. Five years later, when they encounter each other again, his life and hers are thrown into chaos as they find themselves forced to confront the unexpected consequences of that one night.
