This book is about a young African American boy named Roger. He is a poor and was a shy boy in the 1930's. He feels a shamed of himself every time he either makes a mistake, or kids laughing at him since he is African American. When he looks in the mirror one day, he realizes something special about himself... something that know one can do. Make people laugh (Because in the 1830's, it was the years of depression). This one mirror gave him courage, strength, and confidence from then on.All Rights Reserved
