Annabelle Caligo, a princess destined to be married off to the prince of the neighboring sky kingdom, James,she despises his pure existence, and she refuses to share his surname. Farren Sylva, a poor farmer's son, is constantly ignored by his parents due to their work, he runs away, hoping to ease the burden on his parents. Running away to Neque, he struggles to find a job, he gets bullied and scorned for being a poor farmer's son amongst the upper class.
When Farren meets Annabelle he knows she's something different, from the way she speaks, to the way she walks, everything about her is so... royal. There's no denying it, she's a true princess. An unlikely friendship blooms between the two.
