From her earliest days, Elliet sensed she was set apart. She possessed a strength and speed that surpassed all the children in her village. Because of this, her parents forbade her from revealing her extraordinary abilities to others. One day, while playing with her sister, Elliet unintentionally caused her harm. Consumed by anger and frustration, their mother confessed that Elliet was cursed and adopted. Heartbroken by this revelation, Elliet fled, embarking on a quest to uncover her true heritage. It was then that she discovered the world was far more expansive than she had ever imagined, filled with individuals who wielded power greater than her own. She was soon swept into the clandestine vandid society, a covert group of assassins comprising superhumans. Rising through their ranks like a dark horse, she quickly became the youngest and deadliest assassin in the world, earning the moniker "Dark Angel." Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, Sonya embarked on a mission to find her missing sister. Fate intervened when she crossed paths with a young boy destined to become the king of a formidable nation. After saving his life and those of his bodyguards, Sonya was conscripted into the army. "Stop whining like a little princess," Devyn spoke so only he could hear. "The quicker you shut the hell up, the quicker we get this over with." Lexin's pulse skyrocketed as he realized this was actually happening. His scalp burned from the hard grip, but his body welcomed it. Lexin looked at Devyn with shock before his eyes turned to slits, a nasty glare forming. His body jerked when he felt Devyn's other hand rest at the base of his neck, thumb pressing at the dip of his collarbone and throat. The world halted when Lexin felt those soft lips on his neck. His mind went haywire. ~'~ Lexin wasn't depressed. He was aloof, careless, reckless, and had a bad case of insomnia. Which might be symptoms of depression. After his parents pass in a tragic accident, he's forced to move in with Monica Vale, his mom's best friend. Due to his lack of family, she was named his guardian. This would all be good and well. Lexin could go on brooding and driving his life into the dirt. Or at least he could have, if it weren't for her arrogant son, Devyn Vale. Devyn and Lexin had despised each other for years. Since the beginning of eighth grade, they decided they no longer liked each other. Devyn was a goodie two shoes with perfect grades, a captain title for the lacrosse team, a perfect volleyball girlfriend, and an annoyingly large group of friends. Lexin was a bit of a loner. He had claimed the 'bad boy' title at school. Partying had always been his thing, but when his parents died it took a turn for the worse. He had two friends, Christina Faix from second grade and Luca Harrison from the lacrosse team. Other than that, he didn't communicate much unless he was hooking up with some poor soul. Now his lacrosse captain was not only up his ass at school, but also lived with him. The two boys are forced into close proximity and things build up for the worse. What happens when the tension explodes at a game of truth or dare in the middle of a party?

𝘽𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝙄𝙄 𝙤𝙛 𝙂𝙤𝙡𝙙 𝙁𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙨 When saving the world turns out to be an even harder task than Phoenix and his friends anticipated, they pin their last hopes on their enemy. Not just any enemy, either, but the real culprit behind Gold fever and the one who just weeks ago wanted Phoenix dead and cold. Aspen is facing the consequences of his actions and trying to cope with the weight of them. Which, just like saving the world, is easier said than done. Especially as in the midst of it all, at the worst possible moment, he starts to catch feelings for the guy he was meant to want dead and cold. Oh, and there is a slight chance he isn't alone with his feelings. Aspen is, as the word goes, gorgeous after all, and it isn't like there are many options around to choose from when the world still thinks you're its enemy number one. But. (And there's always a but.) Their time is running out. Will Aspen be able to cure Phoenix, who still remains part of the key to saving the world, before Gold fever steals him away? Before lucid dreams become their only way to be together?"
