Since her teenage years, Joanna dealt with her vicious emotions and now, it was strangling her and dragging her away from those she loves. Including Jasper Hale, whom of which she realized that she was crushing severely on. However, as much as she wants to tell him, she deals with fear and depressive state that was suffocating her. She didn't know if she would survive, especially now that she was being hunted down by a bunch of damn vampires.
