Just when things were beginning to happen for them, the lead singer of their band, Marshall McLoskey, leaves the boys of Peppermint Silk high and dry. They're left scrambling for a singer with a big gig coming up, and no one at the mic. They decide to hold open auditions and find someone to fill Marshall's spot, but of course no one quite works, and Jude, Dane, Tommy, and Sullivan debate whether to even go on with the band at all. Then, Momoko walks in off the street to audition and changes everything. She's a petite firecracker who shocks the pants off the boys when she shows how she can sing, and they move forward with Momoko at the mic. But the dynamics of the band begin to shift almost immediately when all of the boys, who are as close as brothers, begin to have feelings for Momoko. As the date of the Greenwich Village Battle of the Bands rolls closer, even their music begins to morph as all of them express their romantic feelings for her, and, as it turns out, she returns the feelings she has for them. Whom will she choose? But does she even have to?
