Clueless
He runs up behind you, picking you up and spinning you around. You laugh and blush the whole time. He finally sets you down and kisses your forehead. Sounds perfect doesn't it? That's what Abby has... with her bestfriend. He is always making her laugh and is always smiling. He is that guy at school that everyone loves, including Abby. If you see one of them, the other is sure to be inches away. They have gone through a lot together and have been bestfriends since they were little. She's in love, he's in love, but they're both Clueless. *** "Morning, beautiful," he winked. When he said that I couldn't help but blush. His arm was still around my waist and my hands were on his bare chest. I could feel sparks running throughout my whole body. I loved waking up like this. An Unexpected Moment
... that changes everything Sarah was starting her junior year of high school. Looking at herself in the mirror, she saw a pretty average blonde haired, blue eyed, teenager. She was neither in the popular group, nor one of the many cliched outsiders. Sarah was a nobody. She liked to blend in and lay low. It was her way out of not only this town, but her house. No one knew it, but her father was a high functioning alcoholic that often took his anger out on his family. With her older sister now in college, it had turned to her more often. Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either. It might be a cliché romance, but it will be fun to see what the year and beyond holds. ------------------------------------------ This is a story I wrote years ago, or at least partially wrote. As I transcribe it here, I have tried to update it a bit and give the characters/story more depth than what I had when I was younger. Hopefully it all gets pulled together!Complete

Not a Love Story
(Exactly what it sounds like. It's really not a love story. ) "Do you like me?" You're straight forward I forget that sometimes. I open the drink and look at it as if it were the most interesting thing in the world. I sigh, it's a habit now, and take a gulp. "So?" You ask again. I put the drink on a table next to your bed and sit properly. "I don't know." I say honestly. You didn't seem fazed but you did seem a bit confused. "What do you mean you don't know?" I shrug and decide that the floor is the next best thing to look at. "I like you." I laugh at this and see you don't. "Don't say that. You don't like me. You don't." I say as my smile fell and I looked to your eyes, mine were filled with sadness. But enjoy the book :)Complete
