The prairie in Northern Montana, 1912. A remote farmer, Charles Jones, lives far away from people that hate him and runs a small farm on a plain, where lavender grows faster than crops. A usual day for a lonesome feller is interrupted by a mysterious girl in the stables, with the civilization miles away. Will he help her get away from the life she knew or will the approaching events stop them from growing close?

2. This work is pure fiction. The characters are made up and other than the name of the state the location is made up. Any similarities with real people are coincidental. I got an inspiration for the story while reading an article about lavender and looking at pictures of the prairies.
