COLLAB BETWEEN @Birdpaw (Kathy V. Woods) + @WinterSleep85 (Stephanie Winter)

Science Fiction and High Fantasy collide.

Micah Stone's sense of reality has crumbled. The Second Alliance of Planets has come under attack by creatures of unknown origin. Strange occurrences follow in the wake of the attacks and no one wants to admit that the creatures seem very much like dragons out of a fantasy book. Lives are lost and Micah has to put aside his morals to help stop these creatures.

Sukoalie is a swift flyer of the clan in the mountains, the one who breaches the Astral Sea. Against worlds who have lost their magic, and makes a return, zhe is tasked with awakening one source key, the worlds shift and change after a brutal attack by the parasitic 'Strange Ones' and their awful weapon of destruction, and zhe is sent crashing back down to the world, and zer own mind.

A young man of the stars and a dragon of magick collide and realization dawns that they might be pieces in a larger cosmic game.

For years, dragonkind and humankind had been at war, alternating between short-lived truces and all out warfare. In this age, however, humankind had subdued the proud dragonkind and turned them into slaves. Brands seared into their arms with the mark of a weeping dragon; the symbol of their defeat. Darin vehemently hated the mistreatment of the dragonkind, and when a branded runaway boy crossed his path, he made him his apprentice to protect him. Something had to be done. But in a strange turn of events, Darin found himself the leader of a peculiar band of travelers: His new apprentice, a brooding warrior, and an elven healer. Although he rarely traveled with others, he began to enjoy it as a long-term arrangement as days turned into weeks. Yet Amaredeia was still healing its war-ravaged wounds, and the cries of rebellion and anguish rose again. Could he really continue denying the calls of his apprentice's people? 10 parts Ongoing
On an Earth that is not our own, the Moon above is Blue and Green with life, an earth where dragons and great beasts hold absolute dominion over the skies, land, and sea. While humanity, humbled by a troubled past, remains content to live in the sheltered parts of the world. Through a union between the most intelligent species, a planet once ravaged and ruined by conflict and vice has been resurrected into something greater than ever before. A tradition to maintain peace was born, where some fledgling dragons are selected to share half their soul with a random human child. The pair would become Dragon Mage and Archmage respectively, some of the most powerful mortal beings to exist... provided they survive long enough and the odds are heavily against them. 5,000 years later, a human girl named Piiku Ravenfield leaves her quiet village to find her soulmate, only to discover that her partner just so happens to be the Dragon Prince of a faraway land. This Prince named Beskytter Allister Orenstein, despite his young age and residence in human society unlike any previous dragon royalty, is seen as an enigmatic and withdrawn figure. For reasons known only to him, prefers to remain in the skies above and wilds beyond where no human dares tread. Plagued both physically and mentally by follies of the past, his heart has grown hard and his mind divided. Together they must learn to navigate both their worlds, making friends and foes alike to live in a world where no one is at the top of the food chain. (Title Art by @RileyClaw on Twitter/Tumblr.)

When exiled Elf Ariel Greenleaf is found unconscious just beyond the borders of Mirkwood by the Company, they are ready to dispatch her without hesitation. It isn't until their leader, Thorin Oakenshield convinces them that she could be a powerful bargaining chip in their quest to reclaim Ereborn. For Ariel, being the dwarves' prisoner is only slightly better than succumbing to the elements beyond her home. But, that doesn't mean she is grateful to them or even willing to help. After all, dwarves and elves are enemies and dwarves cannot possibly be trusted. Especially Thorin Oakenshield. But fate has a way of turning enemies into something far more complicated. And for Ariel and Thorin, neither is prepared for the turn fate has in store for them. **note, I'm rather new to the world of Tolkien, so please be patient as I especially have a hard time keeping the dwarves all straight (except for Thorin, of courese :). ) This story takes place prior to the events of The Hobbit
