Orphaned at ten, Angel's moved every few months to escape the monsters salivating in the shadows and protect the brother she hid from them. The new city she calls home is close to the town of her birth and holds the answers to questions she never knew to ask. But with these answers comes a great price. The boy who rejected her, Kyler, seems to know she suffers it however, and is pleased. Unbeknownst to him, attacking others in her presence is not intelligent. Angel can defeat the cocky alpha in a fair fight even though she's human... isn't she?
There are secrets in Wolfram, dark, sinister secrets. The residents of Wolfram aren't the only ones to realize Angel doesn't understand her capabilities. Someone else noticed Angel. And they will stop at nothing to get her.
