Our world is different then your world, at least it is for us.
To most of us...the world ended hundreds of years ago, Who knew scientists were right about overpopulation, when the time came we had to make a decision...either reduce population or everyone parishes.
All those years ago the government split us up into 4 groups..."The Center" where all the wealthy people live at the top of the world, "The Commons" where you live if your working for the wealthy but can barely get by, "The Last" is simply where the poor live and people without hope to live get sent to die, and finally "The Outskirts" No one above The Last know of our existence, excluding the government, We might as well be our own land.
We live free and listen to no one, we fend for ourselves, and we thrive on our own. That was until a teenage girl thought wasn't careful enough sneaking around and got caught.
Running into a boy who will soon change the way everyone lives. I'm Rose and this is my story.

A world where superheroes, angels, and people live together in peace... well they used to. In these angels are Dark Angels or Colored Wings.. after a while they became the source of crimes. Superheroes or Uncommons were the heroes who stopped all of the Dark Angels. After the war against Uncommons vs Dark Angels everyone thought they were extinct. But over the last few years sightings of them are popping up. The problem is with that there's some Dark Angels that are good but no one will understand. If a dark angel is captured most people try to kill it on the spot by ripping or sawing their wings off. It's a painful process but this is something that Dark Angels deal with the fear of being captured. If someone sees a dark angel in the sky people are allowed to shoot it down. But if you turn yourself in you get dewinged and you are shown to the public. And people well try to hunt you down and kill you in the most 'beautiful' way possible. The uncommons are the good guys. Everyone loves them. The Dark Angels are the bad guy. Everyone hates them. Now what if you are dark angel but also an uncommon... note: this was written by my thirteen year old self highest -- #177 in Science Fiction // From Awkward Stars: "Idiots, how did we loose a sixteen year old in a glass room?!" a voice silences them all. I slip out of my corner and into the now empty hallway, shutting the doors behind me. I race as fast as I can away from that interrogation room and tears stream down my face. I've tried so hard to be good. I've tried so hard to fit in. What have I done to deserve this? Lost in thought, I can't look where I'm going. My face connects with a human-feeling thing. "Emma?" Tyler asks and states. I look up into his cold eyes. "You?" I push past him, slamming my shoulder on his. Pain spikes through me, but all I can think about is getting out of here. There are black dots in my vision. I hear yells and calls after me, but they are faded. I burst through the first door I find. A mob of people await me, but they aren't about to arrest me. Highest ranked- #10 in action 2/16/2017 A promotion. That's all I wanted. I didn't want to run for my life. I didn't want to be kidnapped. I didn't want to face death. I didn't want to find out my whole life was a lie. I just wanted a bloody promotion. Guess fate had other plans? **** The cold air fanned over my face as I opened the door. The exit door lead to the back of the building so it was pitch black. I leaned against the wall trying to control myself. Blood was running down my arm and head. My hair was stuck to my face from all the sweat and blood. Everything was spinning around me and the ground seemed like it was shaking. Groaning I sat down and put my head on my knees. He knows who I am. He knows how I look like. He knows where I work so possible knows where I live. I am not safe anymore... no where. While I was in my own world I heard faint sounds behind me but I didn't bother to look or run away. The footsteps got closer and I was pretty sure it was Walker's men. I should run. I should try to fight. But what's the point in trying to run away? He would eventually find me and if he has his way he would most likely kill me. If this is my fate then why am I trying to fight it? I felt someone harshly grab my waist and pull me up and I complied. They dragged me down the alley and into the busy street. I heard the opening of a car and the next thing I knew I was being thrown into a car. My head hit the hard leather seat and the door shut behind me. Maybe this is how my life will end. Maybe I should just let it happen. Maybe I was destined to die alone as a no one. With that I let the darkness consume me.Complete
