A new school means a fresh start, right? Not many people know you which makes starting over easy. Makinze begins her freshman year at Lincoln High School expecting to live her best life and make life long memories. A new love interest pops up in her life, with some unsettling toxic behaviors. Small but obvious warning signs show up throughout their relationship, but Makinze chose to ignore them. She begins to fall deeper in love with him as the years go by. Every time he'd mess up, Makinze made a new excuse for his actions. Is it because she's scared to be alone, or is it deeper than that? Somewhere in their relationship, the abuse got out of control and his manipulative personality grew stronger, making Makinze feel trapped and alone. New conflicts arise in their committed relationship, making it hard on Makinze's mental health. Will she be able to escape and recover after years of him, or let it eat away at her own mind and end it all?
