The Forgotten Astronaut

Planet Earth was known as a one of a kind planet in the Milky Galaxy. The only other planet that was similar to Earth was named Planet Lux, which sat just above four light years away. With the future of Earth looking glum, scientists around the world began to slowly create a space program labeled PLANET EARTH, in which its sole mission was to look into the likelihood of being able to relocate people on Earth to this new Earth-like planet. After years of work, the project had finally came to sending off an astronaut to look into the planet. However, after just a year of space travel, communication with the astronaut suddenly disappeared. Searching in desperation, the scientists are unable to find the lost astronaut's ship. They gave up after a year of searching. Five years have since passed and everyone is ordered to not talk about the failure of the first mission, nor does anyone want to, when a mysterious transmission comes through from what looks to be on Planet Lux? Just who is this person and how did they get on this frequency?
