The astronaut, once thought to be lost in space, has finally regained communication with planet Earth. She has finally reached the planet that they were trying to get to, but it appears that there are hostile humanoid beings that live there. As she is slowly dying, she flashbacks to simpler and other hopeless times, like the time she lost all communications with Earth. Will she survive or die on this mysterious new planet? And does she have lost hope like she did when she lost a signal back to planet Earth?

In order to embark on a mission to discover alien life on the icy moon of Jupiter Maria must leave her life on Earth behind, including her father and her seven-year-old son Diego. She thought the hardest part of the mission would be saying goodbye, but little does she know what awaits her and her crew on Europa, an environment that has never been explored from the surface until this mission. Perhaps alien life was never meant to be explored by humans...
