William McKinley High School was no stranger to the stereotypes of the modern age, if you were a cheerio it automatically made you superior and dating a jock multiplied your status by 10.
And the simple, loser that everyone would avoid being friends with so they didn't catch the virus that was loneliness. you could never strep low enough to be at the very bottom unless a mistake seemed to plague your experience in high school.
And joining Glee Club was the lowest of lows, only those who craved stardom and attention were dumb enough to join and if you did avoid those who were at the top of the social pyramid because that is committing social suicide.

Now, Quinn never sugar coated anything with Emily. Emily still didn't particularly like Jacob Israel - she wasn't sure anyone actually did by this point -, but for the first time, she didn't feel the need to hide from him. After all, she had everything she could possibly want and that was definitely going to be Emily Marshall's year. "Twitter says you are still dating Hobo McBieber."
