Hearken thine ears to this final hymn, for it shall only be said once before time heaveth Her final sigh. Ere the Age of Fleshborn, there was only Cosmos, and He was alone. Realms lied unsculpted, mantled by dark. Then the Cosmos raised His hand, and the dark shattered, shedding its benighted cloak.

Aeons withered in Time before the Old Ones rose and claimed Their thrones in a world not Theirs, seized godhoods of their own making. Within a world realm from the Fleshborn, the Old Ones cloistered in cold keeps, fearing the beings of another realm that had imprisoned Them in the womb of the world. 

Yet another standeth before Them, a being born of the dust unto a realm of those more than flesh. The mantle of divine favor is passed onto a young boy, a stranger in a valley of fiends. 

Ancients wake from their slumber, a boy learneth to speak the tongues of beasts, and Chaos Herself is unleashed as the reign of Old Ones that has endured many an aeon is brought to naught. All touched by divine favor must suffer, all must fulfill their burdens, to whatever end: wither or transcend.

Where the Moon, finally caught the Sun. Their Mother taught me a important lesson. To teach me the right ways of being alive. What is a mortal if not selfish and cruel? What is a mortal if not hated and feared? What is a mortal if not a traitor? Who was she for believing chaos could be tamed by that?
