Byun BaekHyun is a Warlock who doesn't care to be tied down, but it's his impulsive nature that gets him caught up in a misunderstanding with a Vampire Coven who send out a reward for his body. His dead body, that is. With no other option, he cashes in his favour with the Seoul Shifter pack for their protection.

Park Chayeol is the Seoul Pack Enforcer who takes his job protecting his Pack extremely seriously. He has no time for fun and games - his position means he must remain cautious and diligent at all times. But when his Alpha orders him to protect a glitzy Warlock, he suddenly becomes a reluctant bodyguard.

But like oil and water - Shifters and Warlocks do not mix. While Chanyeol is forced to protect BaekHyun, his job is made infinitely more difficult when BaekHyun accepts a job investigating a rogue Demon. Can these two find common ground, or even ... Something more?
