Ruby gets shipped off to a high school in Brisbane by her step-mother, Tanya. Ruby is antisocial, awkward, shy and a little bit emo. When she gets to the school she discovers that it's not that bad there. at least they had sent her to a night school, right? Probably only because of her father, he still loved her, but not as much as he used to. 
Anyway, she meets her roommate and her friend and they all become buddies and they meet the bad boy's Garret and Tristan. What's gonna happen? Well, I know but you're gonna have to read on to find out.
