I went to Digha which is a town of seaside resort in West Bengal. I had to go to a district named Purba Medinipur. I discovered that it is in the northern side of Bay of Bengal. I found a low gradient having a sand beach. The beach is shallow. This sea popular is quite popular in West Bengal.

I would like to talk about Beerkul, and that is the real name of Digha. Warren Hastings named it in his letters dating back 1780 and he had compared it with Brighton of the East. In 1923, there was John Frank Snaith who is a businessman of English origin. He had popularized Digha. Bidhan Chandra Roy was the chief minister of Bengal at that time and he had been inspired to develop that spot. I saw an old church in the Old Digha Main gate. I came to know that this is known as Alankarpur Digha. When I travelled to New Digha, I found Sindhur Tara. I also travelled to a park named Amrabati Park. I had prayed for the welfare of my family along with my loved ones. I went using a local van rickshaw. I also went to Tajpur, then I went to Odisa Border. Finally, I went to the Science City.
