The last summer they were there he could tell that their gruncles favorited Mable more than him.
Coming back to gravity falls when dipper finds Bill's statue. And Dipper goes there to clear his head and talks about his life. Then finds out that the statute....
I wonder what happened to the statue.

(Description really tells you nothing about the actual story/definitely not the same) Dipper is missing. Dipper has been missing for months. The last day Mabel and their parents saw him was one day before school. And haven't seen him since. All Mabel found in his room was a note. It was obviously a clue but she was never good at figuring this stuff out dipper was. But when she did get it the answer frightened her slightly bringing back memories. Bill Cipher Dipper went back to Gravity falls months before they were supposed to. Why did he leave a note about Bill? Did they make a deal? Did Bill posses him again? Shortly after their 3rd year of high school ends, their parents think they need some time outside the city, and they send them back to Gravity Falls for the summer.
