Astronaut Quinn Low is the commanding officer on the Conquest V, a space shuttle on a journey to Mars. What seems like a smooth expedition takes a turn for the worst when a mysterious blue vortex collides with their shuttle in space. Just when they think they're in deadly trouble, Quinn and her crew find themselves in a different reality--one very different from theirs. One with lightsabers, the Force, and a war waged between two ideals that threaten to descend upon the galaxy an era of darkness.

Immediately following the events of The Last Jedi, the battle for the galaxy continues between the First Order and the last of the Resistance. As the new Supreme Leader takes the throne, the First Order is focused on finding and destroying all who oppose them. The Resistance had disappeared into hiding and desperation has forced them to explore the gray areas of war.
