⚠️⚠️Trigger warning⚠️⚠️ This story deals with some sensitive subjects. . . . They've both grown up now. Wounds can heal, but scars are always left behind, carved into you like a punishment you have to deal with for the rest of your days. He broke her. He made her drown in tears. He scarred her. Yet now she faces him again, even at work - where she thought she'd never see him again - she has to meet his eyes again, his face, his everything. However, the colours have drained out of him. As they say, karma always comes back to bite you. You can't avoid it, crimes always have consequences. However, in the corners of her mind, she knows something is wrong; there has been a mistake. Can she pick herself up from the ground, and deal with the mistake before another person is broken, even if he does deserve it? Or will she struggle everyday, as his scent passes by her? As his eyes dart to her. But maybe, as her scars bite deeper into her, she no longer has the strength, or will, to help him. Maybe her broken heart is something that can't be repaired, and her last chance of happiness is left to deteriorate before her eyes. . . . I DO NOT OWN TOTAL DRAMA, OR ANY OF THE CHARACTERS.
