Ashleigh Buress expects this summer to be different. He's the frontman of a local band and has a history with Ashleigh, not to mention he's gunning for the very same record label her best friend's spent over a decade aspiring for.

Ashleigh finds herself falling for the enemy, waltzing right into a forbidden summertime romance. As a battle rages on for top spot, a girl only used to being on the sidelines gets caught in the middle and this time, she won't be able to walk away unscathed.
