You may still like this even if you don't like fantasy. It's more like a normalization of angelic humans. There's plenty of gay adorableness and cuddles. Based in a world in which everyone is an angel and must earn an ability not inherited through family. It seems random but it's not in the slightest. Each matches ones personality.
