His teary eyes stared at me, his fast breathing was calming, and his angry shouts turned to soft whispers. His once shielded, protected self was now crumbling before me, sinking into my arms, tiny sobs escaping his lips. His promising put together look was breaking in my arms, his large arms clung to me with everything he had, curling up into a ball in my hold. I quickly wrapped my arms around him, pulling his shaking body closer to mine, lifting his head on my shoulder. All I could do was watch him break before me.
