A secret supply mission whose secrecy is unknown to those aboard the cargo ship, Vanguard, goes horribly wrong. Eight officers with a crew of one hundred, are dispatched to the distant colony planet of Helix. Upon their arrival the crew quickly find that they are in the right place...but not the right universe. Through unraveling secrets and chaos, the crew and officers of the Vanguard fight their alternate selves to find a way back home.
