Nakoya is a young eleven girl.  She's very lonely and doesn't have any friends, but one day everything changes when she meets the dragon.  He tells her about her future and that he would help her  to learn how to use her magic. But one day,  John, her school teacher's husband, finds out about the dragon and wants to take his power for his own. Nakoya will do anything to protect the dragon and its egg from harm. 

She learns to never give up hope. Even when the world gets tough. She will keep her promise and protect him no matter what.
