After moving to a new house with his dad and ever-absent mom, Virgil goes to his first day at his new school and prepares for the hell that usually awaits him beyond school doors. He meets a few interesting people who he just might be able to get used to, especially a certain someone. But when a familiar face appears, as well as some unpleasant new ones, will school become the hell that he had first anticipated?

This has been playing out in my head for a while, so I thought 'why not make it an actual story?' And so I did.
