Shae once starved for dominance, for the less "gifted" to pledge their fealty.

She was driven mad for control and flaunted her powerful gift that few could ever match. In her younger years, she sat among the Volturi council dictating the Volturi's movements and advocating aggressively for the control of all vampiric kind.

That is until she was humbled by her fragility, despite all the power she held it did nothing to prevent the death of her younger sister, indescribable grief left her broken and scattered. She mourned, she mourned for years that turned into centuries leaving her seat amongst the council empty.

Shea searched and searched for the scattered remains of her broken identity, searching in the text of books, the creativity of art, the structure of architecture, and the freedom of music, but nothing sustained her. It wasn't until her younger brother introduced her to two newborns did she a glimpse of what she was missing. She took up the mantel as their caretaker, which soon evolved into the title of mother.

And now she lives in the remote part of the Volturi compound, refusing to take part in their actions, and spends her time amusing herself with trivial hobbies and looking after her troublesome children.
