When Inuyasha comes back from visiting kikyo she decides she's had enough and tells the group shes leaving to find her own path in the feudal era. Along the way she saves a dragon, meets old and new friends, even befriends old enemies.

Chiyomaru is Inuyasha's younger twin sister, a mortal girl who's demonic powers were taken from her in the womb by Inuyasha. Only powers that remained was the ability to heal quickly and the long life. About a hundred years ago, Inuyasha decided that it would be best that he walk away with Chiyomaru, after all, Chiyo had a happy life journeying the world with her best friend, Reiki, a girl who is exactly like Chiyo but with the ability to see the future in mental images during her sleep.
