The competition is held every year, on one special night, the Night of Fire. Every clan has to enter the strongest, smartest member of the clan to fight. The clan that wins the competition gets the Spell Cup, the most powerful object in the whole country. The clan that wins gets to be the ruler, the best clan of them all. The MindClan has won every year for five years straight. The same person has been chosen every time, he is the most famous person in the country now. Winning five times in a row makes you pretty popular. But now it's my turn to represent my clan, the ElectricClan. I am not sure I can do it, I am going up against the most powerful people in each clan. I have to keep telling myself every day I can do this. But I know I have to do this, or else I will get gravely injured, or even die.

He may not be aware of it yet, but Carrie Lancefull, a senior student on the verge of graduating from Edison High School, has been chosen for a remarkable journey. At a young age, he witnessed a battle between his idol, Lady Lynn, now known as Cassidy, and Prince Flynn, now Lord, following the king's passing five years ago. Recognizing Carrie's potential, Prince Flynn intervened in his match against the formidable Amazon of steel. After defeating her, Prince Flynn spotted a young Carrie in the stands and requested a meeting. Heimat: a place that you can call home; a sense of belongingness, acceptance, safety and connection to homeland A decade has passed after the final battle between the Avatar and the Fire Nation, a decade after the defeat of their Fire Lord. It is a time of prosperity for most, but the crimes commited during the war couldn't be reversed. Benders were taken away from their families, people were slaughtered, their belongings, homes and land taken away. This, had been the instance when it came to the northwest part of the Earth Kingdom, that had went on to become the Fire Nation colonies. The people of the Fire Nation and the Earth Kingdom lived on in the land that was given to them and gradually, they became one. They collaborated and cooperated in order to live and so they got richer, learnt to depend on each other for their survival. By the end of the war, the people, even though they came from different backgrounds, were one. A decade after the end of the war, the Avatar is commanded to solve the matter of whether the former Fire Nation citizens need to move or not. Aang believes the nations need to be separated. The people in the colonies do not, hatred starts to grow in their hearts. The Avarar will need the help of a companion more than any other time, and there is no better person to aid him than the secret waterbender that's part of the Fire Nation fleet, the woman who risked her own life to get him to safety, even though this had been the first time they had met in their lives. NOTE: Any characters that do not appear in Avatar: The Last Airbender belong to me. The atla universe belongs to the creators.

The avatar kept balance in the world but with him gone the world became unbalanced, that is until it gave life to a new avatar but instead of continuing the cycle it went back. Only a select few know this as they are apart of a special group not tied to one nation, they are the White Lotus.

I've never been all that big on adventure. Sure, in my head I was the greatest adventurer who ever lived, slaying demons and taming dragons and what have you. But when you're actually there, and you realize that you're not just there but a Mary Sue too.... well that actually sucks. Awesome in its own way, but nobody wants to be a Mary Sue, or a Gary Stu or whatever. Oh right, I'm getting off track here. My name? Not Mary, that's for sure, but it generally depends on the story. See, if I was to introduce myself in a Japanese or another Asian styled world by my English name....that would be weird.... so I pick a name that I figure fits. Today my name is Amaya. Why? Well, I liked it. And I guess it fits. The name means "Night Rain", and it fits because well, I woke up in the middle of a forest in the middle of the night....and it was raining. Funny how that works huh? Also, I'm a waterbender. Neat right? I guess. But I digress. I should really get to the story right? Well, like I said, it was a rainy night, and I was cold, lost and alone....
