Seventeen year old Cade Miller is living in the outer ring of dystopian Washington D. C. She is part of a small minority called pure humans. What was once a democratic country, is now a dictatorship ran by genetically modified humans from the inner ring of the city. Dead center in the revolution, Cade and the surviving pure humans have to make decisions that must save them all.
