Piper 2: Jonathan's Secret

Jonathan Murrel knew he was the bad guy. He knew how he was perceived at school. He wasn't blind nor stupid. He saw how people looked at him at school. He was the grandson of Headmaster Murrel. Suck up to the teachers, daddy's money bought him nice things, he even lived in a mansion. He knew the routine, they were all nice to his face, but were cruel behind his back.
Derrick Splatz was probably his only friend. His only real friend. Derrick was the only person who wouldn't go behind his back, no matter what Jonathan did. At least, he hoped Derrick was that loyal.
Jonathan's fears stopped him from revealing the truth about the incident at Murrel's SMAC. Jonathan couldn't imagine a life without Derrick.
When Jonathan's big secret comes out, a small group of his... friends? No. Just people. People who are putting their differences aside long enough to help Jonathan. Help Jonathan turn his family in and destroy the Man in the Box.
"My father and I were walking through the family mansion.
'Jonathan, you understand the severity that everyone believes that you have been captured by the man in the box. The authorities will be looking for you, so you must stay hidden. We cannot take any chances so your mother has cleaned up the basement for you,' My father explained.
'The basement?' I asked him quietly.
'Yes, you will spend all of your time for the next few months down there,' My father elaborated. He led me down a long, dark staircase. It was lit by low burning torches and made of cold, black stone. The temperature seemed to decrease with every step we walked down. I shivered. Hopefully, my mother made it warmer down there."
As numerous attempts to take down the Man in the Box fail, Jonathan is persuaded to do something he never would have expected. How will Jonathan finally escape his terrible family and get the life he wants?
