Life for her was full of trauma from her past: distrusting others, and being distrusted in return.

Never let others read your emotions.

Don't let others push you around.

Don't get involved in others, and in turn, don't let others get involved with you.

For most of her life, Hayashi Miyu has abided by those guidelines. She's seen too much of the world to be one for emotions and feelings.

And then there was him, completely out of her expectations and calculations. Barging in her life like a whirlwind. Always taking leaps of faith.

They were complete opposites: fire and ice. Surely, one would overpower the other?

But in her world filled with scars from the past, storms fueled by society, and inner turmoils, there's no way she could face them alone.

So maybe, just maybe, she'll open her walls a little for him.
