Within seconds, he was only two feet in front of me, two steps separating us along with the ground. My breathing had seized and my heart pumped blood vigorously through my veins, causing my fingertips to tingle and my toes to curl inside of my shoes. He was so close; no longer just a mere drawing anymore. It was almost liberating.
His lips parted and my eyes widened in the slightest as he suddenly spoke. "You're my blurry picture."

Resonance is an artist that prefers pajama bottoms, rainy days, and listening to her roommate, Katherine, fawn over her boyfriend. Though she longs for the same substance of adventure taking place in her bookshelf, her life had never provided her such luxury.
That is, until she gets set up on a blind date with Jeziah.
Jeziah is a free-spirited photographer that prefers satisfying his craving for life, letting his curiosity get the better of him, and figuring out more about his own passion.
When the two collide, what will a lack of transportation, a box filled with paper memories, and a taste of adventure and quenching thirst of curiosity get them?

I felt the bed dip as he sat down on the other side but I focused solely on my task until I was done. "This is a pillow barrier. Meaning, you don't breach this side of the pillows." I instructed, my voice firm. "What if I don't want anything between us?" Phoenix said in a husky voice, and I risked a glance. Bad choice. His eyes were dark and his gaze was on my lips, to my chest, then back to my lips. "Eyes up here, buddy." I snapped the third time his eyes went down to my chest. All he did was turn off the lights. When it was dark, he whispered," Can't I admire what is mine?" I had no answer, and turned on my side. He sighed. Despite taking two naps today, I was out cold the minute my head hit my pillow. I could only hope that in the morning, the pillow barrier was still there. ***** Adira has a secret, one she would do anything to protect. "What's with the glare? Just a few admirers for the beauty, West." I smirk, teasing his jealousy. "Because beautiful doesn't justify you sweetheart, you... you're not just beautiful, you're extraordinary. And it drives me mad. I don't want anyone else laying eyes on you. They wouldn't survive the night if they tried." "What will you do about it? Threaten them?" I move closer to him. His hand finds my face, gently stroking my cheek, "If I have to. Anyone who thinks they can take you, better think twice. You are precious to me, you're not just another pretty face. You are mine and I'm yours, and I intend to keep it that way. " **************** Madison Rose Monroe is a charming, yet stubborn 18-year-old that wants nothing but to pass her senior year at Mount View High. Getting through her classes is all she wants. Her friends, her grades and her crazy family is all that matters to her. Kaleb West, an arrogant 18-year-old, with no manners. Kaleb and Madison have known each other for their whole lives, but never dared the word 'friendship'. He is the guy that made it his life's mission to make her miserable. A dance through time - past and present moments, and a look at the relationship of two girls, a trip to Barcelona, and promises made throughout their lives. -- "Well... It doesn't count that your touch lingers just a bit more on her waist when you're hugging her, right? And it's just simple friendship when you brush unruly strands of hair behind her ear and she blushes? Surely, it's platonic that you let your hands gently run over her back and her shoulder blades when she's asleep with you in bed? And, obviously, it's purely friendly behaviour when you pay for her tickets at the movies with a grin and a wave of your hand, and you spend more and more time alone with her, and for your free choice art assignment you painted her, and you stare at her for a bit too long to be just friends, and when people say the word 'home' your first thought isn't a place, but her (herherherherherher-she's everywhere)... You're doing okay, right?"
