Ashley, Raven, and Teska Motionless can't seem to ever live normal lives. There's Ashley's problems, anger control, sadistic tenancies, and the constant dealings with gangs. Then there's Raven, who, while probably being the most mature, deals with superiority complex, and tends to assume that everyone she meets is less intelligent than she is, which is true, but people just don't seem to get that. Then there's Teska, the mute. She would rather plan tactical attacks on people who annoy her than sit in a cramped desk at an overpopulated high school, and her oldest sister's blind, wing-it attacks drive her insane. Oh yeah, that and they also all use a powerful form of magic.
When Teska and Raven are kidnapped, Ashley meets four men who know all about her and her abilities. Oliver, the cute, psychotic baker, teaches her how to refine her abilities, and if she ever wants to see her sisters alive again, she'll have to get along with the rebellios asshole that Allen is, the thug-hunting lumberjack that James is, the depressed, unmotivated Francois, and the mad-man that resides in the head of Oliver, the bubbly cupcake guy.
Mikhaela Janna Lim, daughter of a renowned business tycoon, craves a normal life away from the spotlight. She even persuades her famous friends to pretend they don't know her, all for the sake of solitude.
But when her path crosses with Maraiah Queen Arceta-a social butterfly, soft talker, and academic achiever adored by many-everything changes.
Will Mikhaela cling to her quiet sanctuary as an anonymous introvert, or transform herself to win Maraiah's heart?
