By running away from problems, you begin to create new ones. That was a lesson that Brooke Holden would have to learn the hard way. After running away to a strange place called Acton County, Brooke thought she had escaped everything holding her back. She had made a new friend and was convinced she was much happier here than where she once called "home". That could not have been further from the truth. The world is beginning to deteriorate and Acton County is starting to show it's true colors. With everything twisting and becoming dangerous, Brooke is forced to confront her problems with the help of two unlikely allies. Will Brooke be able to let go of fantasy to build a better reality or will she let fantasy consume her?
