Meet Nyla Fairbaire. She's a mixed lil gal from Malaysia, Europe and Japan. She's had a very happy family and an extremely normal life. That is until something terrible had happened to her, causing her to take a break from the world. Nyla pretty much vanish from the world for a good year. Now finally being 19, she's out to venture the world.
She applied and got into her dream university in the UK at University of Reading. It was going to be her first time being away from home. Wanting to feel independent, she decided to get a job in order to help her family and not wanting to be a burden to them anymore. As she loves animals, she applied to a few places. Vets, sanctuaries, pet stores, barns and many more. She came across a farm that wasn't that far from her university and they had an opening. As she adore horses she accepts the offer and works there.
Balancing between studies and work Nyla had no time for relationships as she was already in one. But what happens when a mysterious man appears into her life? Will she let him in? Or will she cast him out. Join on Nyla's adventure as you uncover every part of her.
Nyla also has a big dirty little secret. A secret that she has been keeping from the roll expect for direct family and very close friends. Since Nyla's father had passed, she has had to control her 'abilities' from the world. She is no ordinary girl but she tries to be one as she is ashamed of her abilities.

Settling Slowly
2015 rolled in with a bang, and it did not have the grace to gift me with a social life that everyone in a one hundred year radius would be jealous of or that is even just the talk of the town. Instead I got myself into a complicated relationship which wasn't much talked about, a relationship that I didn't get into is talked about all the time and university is around the figurative corner. That is where you can factor in people I suppose I should call 'fans', the fascination that comes in with cutlery, pots, pans and other formerly boring things. But let us not forget that my parents are finally getting married and Mum can't shop for lace without me wanting to kill her, add in a dose of sleepless nights, invigorating kisses - which have nothing to do with the sleepless nights and a lot to do with nightmares - Harriet not knowing the meaning of the words "you're done" and Ice Ice Baby is still a thing. We're all growing up (except Dad who will still make inappropriate jokes at every inappropriate moment, some to do with what cannot be done when you're wearing a plaster cast) and holidays are being planned though some are less holiday and more a mad dash to find somewhere to live out in the big wide world without our parents. Up until she turned 15, Emma's life was ordinary. Living in Los Angeles, she had a few friends, and loved learning history. She had a fascination with magic growing up, but after elementary, she moved on from the foolish idea, learning the hard way that magic isn't real and that it's only a lie Hollywood had fed her. But her whole perspective shifted again after the passing of her grandpa. She discovered that he had kept a secret from his whole family-that he once was a warlock. He had given up that life when he moved to L.A. in the 1970s, but Emma and her cousin Carolina are determined to learn every trick in the spell book he left behind. Fast forward to a year later, Emma's life takes a new turn. During junior year, a mysterious new student from San Bernardino catches her eye. He's mysterious, intriguing, and mostly keeps to himself, but why? It's what she wonders every day when they cross paths. Who in Glendale would want to be so secretive, anyway? Bobby Staten-that's who. Due to Bobby's classic leather jacket and dark aesthetic, Emma and her friends constantly joke that maybe he's a vampire and that's the secret he's hiding. It's no longer funny when a series of gruesome killings occur at Verdugo High, described by local officers as a bloody mark found on the necks of the victims. Strangely, this same pattern had appeared earlier in spring at a San Bernardino High School. Coincidence? Rebecca, Emma's other cousin, thinks not. Rebecca quickly suspects a connection and begins investigating Bobby's past and persona. As Emma befriends him, she struggles to believe that someone like Bobby could be capable of crimes so vicious.
